Prawle Point

From Start Point to Salcombe is a wonderful 11 mile walk along the coast. Midway  is Prawle point, where the path runs high above the sea along rocky ledges.  It was one of the best day’s walking I have ever done.

Here is an evocative painting by my Artist in Residence, Tim Baynes, capturing the wildness and emptiness of the landscape.

Hey Ruth! We walked down to Seacombe Sands from gara rock. This part of the south devon coast is my favourite, so wild. I would like to have gone further but tough with a ll the baby kit..another time 🙂
